Aminata Diallo is a Research Assistant at GBAO, where she works on survey research, literature reviews, client presentations, and focus groups.

Prior to joining the firm, she interned at the Center for American Progress with the National Security and International Policy team where she worked on and researched a range of domestic and foreign policy issues.

Aminata graduated from Smith College with a dual-degree in Government and African studies. During her time at Smith, she focused in international relations and the politics of sub-Saharan Africa, completing her senior thesis on youth political and social engagement in the West African country of Senegal using hip-hop music and culture as a lens through which to understand the political landscape and youth political efficacy.
