Hannah Brenchley is a Research Assistant at GBAO, where she works on survey research, literature reviews, client presentations, and focus groups. In 2020, Hannah worked on behalf of independent expenditures in key congressional and statewide races across the country. In addition to her political work, she worked on projects for the Center for American Progress, State Policy Advisors, PL+US, Brady PAC, Safety and Justice PAC, and YouthFirst Initiative.
Hannah graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science focusing on the intersection of race, ethnicity, and politics and inequity within American public policy. Prior to joining the firm, Hannah interned with the EMILY’s List Research Department where she conducted issue stance and voting record vetting and worked to elect more women to higher office.
Originally from San Bernardino, California, Hannah spent her undergraduate years involved in food insecurity and civic engagement advocacy. She hosted a weekly news show on UCLA Radio covering local and national politics and helped found a campus program lowering dining hall food waste and providing free meals to students. She worked as a student researcher in the UCLA Library and was a Research Assistant for the Vice Chair of the UCLA Department of Gender Studies.
