A new national and Florida survey from GBA Strategies, in partnership with J Street, found that American Jews voted for Hillary Clinton in massive numbers. The poll found that Jewish voters preferred HRC to Trump by a margin of 45 points.
In addition to the strong Democratic support displayed by Jewish Americans, the survey also found that they were not persuaded by the GOP efforts to sway Jewish voters away from HRC by smearing the Iran Deal. Jews from Florida and nationally both still support the deal by a margin of 26 percent.
In an election that saw a departure of traditionally Democratic voters to the GOP, Jewish Americans remain a strong liberal coalition for the Democrats moving forward. Read more at jstreet.org.
